About

Our School

Saturna Island Elementary School caters to a modest group of students spanning grades K-5, along with an environmentally-focused secondary initiative known as the Saturna Ecological Education Centre (SEEC), attracting learners from across the province. The school takes pride in its expansive outdoor play zone, featuring a playground, fields, pickleball court, and community garden. Utilizing the school facilities twice a week is the Saturna Strong Start program, designed for children aged 0-4. In 2023, the construction of an additional space dedicated to early childhood and out-of-school care programs commenced.

At Saturna Island Elementary, we champion educational equity, engagement, and excellence for every student. Our guiding motto is: "We are safe. We are healthy. We are kind."

We are a little school with a lot of heart.
