BC re-opened classrooms at the beginning of June with parents having the option to send their students to school or have them continue with remote learning. Halfway through June, Gulf Islands teachers have welcomed back about half of our total students into classrooms.
Student and staff health and wellbeing are paramount, and enhanced regular deep cleaning, as well as personal practices like hand washing and maintaining physical distancing, have become routine. You can learn more about COVID-19 responses here.
